  1. No a good idea. The internet shows that just 18 inches of dirt will make the ceiling collapse as the shipping container was designed to take weight on its 4 corners and not the actual roof.

    1. You are very correct, but a different possibility is that the roof could actually be reinforced to carry load and sustainably so for a very long time. Reinforcement is key in every type of building design.
